SL Window not updating

I have been having an issue where SL stops updating what it displays in the window but when I click on something it can hear the noise of it doing something like open and close windows and i can TP to other places but the screen looks frozen and the time does not change. it started happening weeks ago and is now happening within minutes. It has happened in Firestorm and Kukua and the Official viewers.

 

I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling my intel uhd graphics drivers

It sounds like a crummy internet connection to me, especially since changing viewers doesn't help. Try rebooting your modem and router. If you are using wifi, get closer to the router, without walls blocking the signal path. Better still, use a wired connection instead, if you can.

so the connection can keep you connected to TP but keep the screen from updating?

Yes, easily. If you are experiencing packet loss or lag time that are not quite high enough to make you disconnect, you can still have slow response time and your client can have trouble getting reliable data from the LL servers. SL depends on keeping your viewer and the servers continuously in sync. A flaky connection can create all sorts of odd problems.

Seems to happen mostly when a new message comes in
