Trouble getting body parts to hide without hiding the legacy body.

Sorry but the insert thing for the picture does not seem to work so i provided a link.. But my problem is, that when i am using the hud to hide body parts, it still looks as though I am wearing pants or shorts. When I am not. I am also not wearing any alphas of any kind. When i take the body off, that part is still there showing. When I try to use an alpha to hide it, it also hides the actual legacy body and not just what looks like a second layer but i am not sure on how to make that disappear. I am using a legacy body. Legacy mesh body special edition 1.6. If anyone knows how to make this second thing disappear without hiding the legacy body please let me know. This has been bugging me for a while.

Are the pants/shorts on a layer/BOM?  Are you talking about the thong part of the outfit shown?  Was it applied using an applier?

I just applied the bom skin.. I h ad noticed this with another mod though a while back.. I did try to use the applier though the legacy hud..as it added the skin there. But when i do go to the page were the skin appliers are there and clear everything..i am still seeing what looks like a second layer. It adds itself to what ever skin i am wearing.. I am not fully sure if i am explaining this right...or if what I am saying is making any since x.x if not.. I am sorry. All i can say is it looks like a second layer. When i alpha the body itself out with the hud, that pants or shorts part is still there when the body itself is not

When i take the body off, that part is still there showing.

The blue harness and the blue shorts are mesh, and they're separate attachments. The body's HUD doesn't control them.

 

Can you show your full outfit, as in all of your items in the Appearance/Wearables window? It's possible that those attachments have become "ghosted" (as in, they're visible to you but they're not actually there), but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

the skin is more so what I am talking about, the harness and other attachments i just didn't take off. Even when I take my full legacy body off.. that section still remains

I finally figured it out. Somehow the texture applied itself to one of my other suppose to be see through attachments. I was able to fix it by resetting the texture to being transparent. If anyone else out there might be having the same issue, try taking off things one at a time until you see that one piece actually disappear and come off. Reattach it and edit it. Go to textures and make it 100 again, if it is still at 100 just press the up and it will make it transparent again and the texture will disappear.
