Electronic Mode
I dream of Second Life without SIM crossing. where i can fly, sale or drive everywhere i want without teleporting. I know that never happens but it would be the best thing ever in SL
Ahania
We all hate sim crossings, to be sure, and would love unimpeded movement across vast open spaces. But, for long-distance travel to favorite spots, teleporting is perfect, so let us keep that even when the SL grid becomes one giant super-sim. And, now that I think on it, give us teleporting in RL too, please, soonest!
Venus Petrov
Mainland is still the place to be. On my corner parcel with water on two sides I watch sailboats race past and all sorts of aircraft fly by. I really gives me the sense that SL is 'alive'. One does not get quite the same feeling on a standalone estate sim.
Smoothie Perl
Your dream (and mine too) isn't unrealistic (one Grid without boundaries). You talking about SL singularity (all Grid in one "single" server). That mean a truly powerful server (today) and not that powerful (tomorrow). I think, with the speed of technology runs, we can see this very soon, in a few years actually.
