Ly Jie
Hello, Here is the thing. I have a web page on a prim set with llSetPrimMediaParams. If i go away from it for a short period the prim clears itself so that the prim texture is shown. To get the web page back I have to click on it which causes the web page to reload. This is not what I want. I want the web page to just sit there for ever, only changing if it is interacted with. Can anyone help please???
Dora Gustafson
If you give it the exact URL of the page you want to be permanent, it will be the home page and the one showing every time the media is activated
Ly Jie
Thanks for the reply Dora, yes I am giving the exact URL for the page and the home page (same). The problem is that after a (short) while no web page is displayed, just the prim texture.

Every client will have it's own perception depending on, if it touched your prim and depending on the viewer used. Older viewers can't show media on a prim at all:smileyhappy:
Rolig Loon
The parameter PRIM_MEDIA_AUTOPLAY "Sets whether the media auto-plays when a Resident can view it. " and will hide the image when you are no longer around. If you don't want it to do that, set that parameter to FALSE.
Void Singer
you need to have preferences --> sound & Media --> autoplay, checked in the viewer, you have to set autoplay true in the script, and you need to set the current page as the home URL for the media in the script. miss any of those and it won't do what you are hoping for. ps. technically it won't just stay on, but only turns on automatically when you see it.
