Authentication

Ok i updated and did a authentication with it. now its asking me for it but it was never set up. I do not have a code for it. what am i doing wrong?

I can't explain the whole process, but you have to use an "Authentication" program or website for it. I use the Google "Authenticator" app on my phone. That app gives me the code to use for Second Life.

Thankfully, I was only prompted for a code once or twice so far.

I don't recall how good the instructions were, or if the app opens automatically when needed - or if I have to open the Authenticator app. I think that I have to open the app.
