Can't log in -- Waiting for region handshake

Probably.

The quick and easy steps consist of closing the viewer and relaunching it. When that fails try your backup viewer. Most of us have at least one other viewer installed for trouble shooting these types of problems.

If that fails, restart your modem/gateway/router, whatever you call it, device. While it is reconnecting restart your computer.

This will typically get you past most problems on your side of the connection.

When these fail then we get into troubleshooting.

Being on the verge of WW III expect governments to be messing with the Internet.

PS:  And it is Tuesday. Regions are being restarted for software updates...
