Oz Linden
If it is that Mac problem (you didn't say whether or not you were on a Mac), we believe it is fixed in the current Beta viewer; try that...
LoveAngeL Lyre
Hello Nicolae. It is a known problem with the last editions of Viewer 2, especially with users with Mac's. Look this jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25627 A solution for this problem described at the following link and seems that it works for most users: http://neilrobinson.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/a-fix-for-dns-errors/ You need to add the following additional DNS servers to your DNS settings in Network settings under System Preferences: 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 If it doesn't work for you, download an older edition of Viewer 2: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes The older Second Life Viewer versions are still active on the production grid, but are not formally supported by Linden Lab Customer Support. LoveAngeL Lyre
This is a very good new Oz. Often in SL Q&A, we have residents with Macs, who complain for that issue.
