Question

Hello

wondering if anyone could help me with this issue

Some days ago i tried to take a photo, so I go and take my graphics up to ULTRA, this selects all the shaders on, including advanced lighting model, never got any issue, but this time, my hair just looks deformed, doesnt matter which hair i put on, its always like this, it only looks normal if i deselect the advanced lighting model (turn it OFF)

No matter which graphic settings my firestorm is on, if advanced lighting model is on, all hairs will look deformed, as i said, i never got this issue before...

I thought maybe i needed to upgrade the firestorm, so i  did to the latest version, but didnt work, tried to do a clean install, clearing cache, you know basic troubleshooting for me, so I dont understand why I am no longer able to use this feature

My graphic drivers are up to date / adding my specs and a pic to show an example

thank you

This should explain your issue and how to fix it.

I'm going to hazard a guess that you might have enabled BoM (Bakes on Mesh) on your head and are now seeing a big, poufy clear 'halo' shape cutting through your hair, or what looks like large chunks of your hair missing from certain angles. If this is correct, then that's caused by your brow-shaper and you can fix it by editing it.

In the stock Linden viewer, the brow-shaper inventory icon looks like a side-on profile -

And in the Firestorm viewer it looks like a bent brown 'wig' -

Whichever viewer you're using, right-click your avatar and select 'edit outfit'. Find that brow-shaper icon in your Wearing tab, and edit it. When the edit window pops up, go into the Style tab, and pull all the sliders to zero, then click Save on it. See this video for what you should be doing.

If that's not the issue, then please let us know what you're actually seeing.
