Firestorm not responding, screen goes black

Hi everyone -

 

First time poster here.

Every time I try logging in to Firestorm, it says 'not responding' and the screen goes black. Ever since I've downloaded the latest release, this has been happening and it has never happened before. I've backed up my settings, chat logs, deleted and reinstalled it again..no luck. I logged in with an alt account on Firestorm and it worked just fine. This is so frustrating.

I've downloaded a few other viewers for SL and they're all working just fine.

Please could anyone help me with this?

Hey Sweet Girl,

 

I am having the same issue. I have not been able to log for days, but then I saw this forum and when you said you could log on an alt I was like HMM... I do not have an alt but I was able to log on my Sisters account with no issues. BLEW MY MIND. SOO I then try to re log as me and it worked this time for some reason. STILL Has to be something that can fix this issue because I have been looking at the black screen for days before I read your comments, and I can't keep logging in as my sister????
