Photoshop Guides Question

Is there a way to set up the photoshop "guides"in View so you can preset and show under "view"..."extras" without having to set them up each and every time for a project? I am using CS4 Extended (one with 3-d obj painting)

What about making a blank .PSD with them preset?

Thank you, Snickers!  Your suggestion is not only simple but something I hadn't thought of!!!  LOL seems I have such clueless moments sometimes.

I think it is semi-answered. Creating a blank file with set guides is a great option, one I had not thought of...but, that solution doesn't really answer what I intended originally about the capability of the photoshop product.

Is there a user option/feature/ preference that can be set for the photoshop workspace guides so each new file you create has these guides show without having to set them up manually each time?

Ask Adobe support. They are always popping that live chat thing up wanting to talk to ya. I bet they'd be more than eager to help. LOL

Thinking upon the kind replies has lead me to an alternate acceptable solution by changing the default gride.  Thank you one and all for solutions.
