Can anyone help how to activate a USB steering wheel with accelerator pedals?

Joystick is on under settings but without effect.

Unfortunately, joysticks in SL just turn into arrow key events. You can't get actual joystick position in a script, so you can't steer any better than with arrow keys.

Full HID support in SL would be nice. There's a Human Interface Device standard for USB input devices, which covers keyboards, joysticks, steering wheels, mice, game controllers, etc. It's possible to support all such devices; they identify themselves and tell you what controls they have. But SL doesn't have support for that.
