XRadio Internet Radio is expanding across the grid and is looking for DJs. Due to the increased and spectacular growth in the numbers of listeners, affiliates and partners, XRadio is looking to expand our current staff of radio DJs. It is an awesome opportunity to fine-tune your skill and broadcast not only throughout the grid but also on the internet. We now have 5000+ monthly listeners and we are still growing!

☒ DJs MUST use the stream we provide as it broadcasts to the grid AND the internet radio station!

☒ Music must be "clean" (no ads, video stuff, etc) and properly labeled.

☒ There is a strict "NO DRAMA" rule. Follow this and everything will be OK.

For more information on broadcasting with XRadio, you can read the XRadio Volunteer Broadcaster Handbook.

All individual DJ sets are controlled by the DJ… we do not have a station-wide playlist of acceptable music. You want to jump into a swamp blues jazz set? Go right ahead! As long as you are original, entertaining and you voice over the stream, you are free to do whatever you want! All we ask is that country music is NOT your primary genre.

Play at your own club! Play at our club! Or we can find a club for you to play in! We work with many different clubs and businesses throughout the grid! We also do events for shops and regions. To get the ball rolling, fill out the Volunteer application from the XRadio HQ on the Second Life grid! Not in Second Life? Come and hang with us in our Discord chat server.

Club owners welcomed to contact about getting their own staff on the grid-wide XRadio stream as well! It is a great way to get exposure for your shop, club or other SIM on a growing radio network devoted to Second Life. For more information, contact Jude Connors.

and how is the legal side taken care for?

This is not my first rodeo. I have both managed and owned internet radio stations in the past.

XRadio is fully licensed in our country of origin. Since DJs that connect to our stream stream on our server, they are covered under our license.

location of broadcast is relevant, not the streamadress, but thats only one part. The licensing for the music also covered by your organisation?
The issue is, you áre a organisation. Individuals are rarely investigated for their legal use of music and broadcast, but bigger fishes are often more interesting for inning fees.

Everything is on the up and up. Thanks for looking out.
