Avastar for Blender 2.8?

Hi Everyone!

I am in the middle of trying to make sense of the Machinimatrix website. I am a bit confused about whether or not Avastar for Blender 2.8 has been released? I see that you can now purchase Avastar 2.81 on their website, but the blog/news/documentation pages have not explicitly announced that it is ready. 

I am a bit nervous about spending 36,00 € without knowing if it is the final/stable version.

Avastar 2.81 is not the final version,but if you buy Avastar before the final version is released, you get 18 monthes of support instead of 12 monthes. You can get more info on Discord :

In theory, it might be it's working, but I couldn't figure out how to link my mesh thing to the skeleton. It didn't appear to have the button you click in the previous version. I ended up reverting Blender to the previous version and doing the same for Avastar.

I'm sure once it's finished it'll be lovely and have documentation, but it was unclear to me if it was working and how it was supposed to work.
