I had a friend in SL that has not been on in a while. I know this is a very, very long shot, but is there any way to see her RL info? Her health in RL was very poor prior to her last being on, and I just wonder if she is ok.

No, there isn't. If you try, you'd be breaking the TOS and probably get banned for it.

All residents have a right to privacy, even if your intentions are "good."

This is one reason why, if you have a very close emotional relationship with someone in SL, it may be worth discussing with them, ahead of time, sharing some RL information.  At the minimum, a single-purpose email address.  It's easy to set one up under any pseudonym you like at gmail, hotmail, or aol.  Remember, when discussing this with your friend, that doing that is completely voluntary and up to them...if they say "no", accept it and move on.
