Minoria31
Hello a few days ago I transferred 5700 Linden dollars to US dollars. I changed my mind about withdrawing funds from my account and ask to transfer my $ 20 again to Linden dollars. From now on, I promise I'll be more careful. thanks in advance! 0 Rolig Loon
I'm not sure that you are asking a question, but let me offer some advice. Any time that you buy or sell L$, you pay a fee. When you sold L$5700, you paid 3.5% of that amount, or almost L$200 to Linden Lab as an exchange fee. So now you have the equivalent of L$5500 in USD ... $22. Suppose you turn around now and buy L$ with that $22. You will pay a flat fee of $1.49 to do that. In the end, you will have about L$5128. That's L$572 less than you started with. You lost over $2. So, the advice is in two parts: 1. Don't buy or sell small amounts of L$. If you do, you are spending a large percentage of your money in fees.In this case, by the time you are done, you will have spent 10% of your money in fees. Trade large amounts so that the fees -- specifically the flat $1.49 purchase fee -- make up a smaller fraction of the cost. 2. Only sell L$ when you really intend to take them out of SL. Reversing direction and buying L$ again is a losing proposition. If you know that you are going to need your L$ in the future, keep them in world.
