Friends List Issues and SL Map Issues

For about 5 days or so, I have been having issues with my friends showing up on my friends list as online when I log on. I know that they are online because it shows them on the SL website dashboard. I then IM them and ask them if they can see me online and they say no.

Also, if I try to get a teleport to a destination from  (for example) here: https://secondlife.com/destination/spellbound-academy and I click on the Teleport button, the Launch Application small window opens as usual BUT the "Open Link" is not longer clickable for me (in the bottom left corner). This always worked in the past and has seemed to stop working around the same time as my friends list issue above.

Anyone else have this problem or have any possible resolutions to fix it? Thank so much in advance!

The Friends List is a known problem. It has to do with how the region server is talking to the SL backend. Our work around is move to another region and relog.

Application window... This is about how you have your computer setup and how it handles SLURLs. Clicking VISIT on destination web pages attempts to open the viewer and select the log in location using a SLURL. Your computer has to be setup to handle those. That handling specifically for SL is not built-in. Installing the viewer adds the needed settings. But, things mess up. Often you can just reinstall the viewer and it clears up.
