SL voice not working

having problem on my firestorm 5.1.7.55786 with voice , it works on public (can talk and hear others)  but not on private calls , any suggestion how to fix it ?

Two thoughts:

1. You should be using the most current version of the Firestorm viewer, 6.0.1.56538.  Download it at https://www.firestormviewer.org/windows/

2. There has been a problem with the interface between the Vivox server and the SL servers this week, so many people are having trouble with voice service.  Vivox is a third-party provider.  SL viewers do nothing more than provide a way to connect you to that outside provider, since Linden Lab does not have its own voice software.  Apparently, both LL and Vivox are waiting for that interface to be fixed.  The bottom line is that you are not alone, as you will see by looking at other recent threads in these forums.  In the meantime, brush up on your typing skills.  Typed chat is still by far the most popular way to communicate in world.

I was able to patch in files from the Catznip viewer and can now use Voice. What I did might not work for everyone but it worked for me with the latest Firestorm (mentioned above).
