Hello Skylar and welcome to Second Life. As i see it is your first day here. Something else you can do is to use the search of Phoenix Viewer. Result there are softed by traffic so it is easy to find places with big traffic, which are always full of people and to teleport there. In addition spend some time to make your profile, writing there some simple things about you and some about the persons you want to meet. Many users have no interest for empty profiles.
