ISO: Invisible Prim

Back in the hayday of SL a prim use to exist that had to ability that if you touched a prim wall with it, would create a hole giving the illusion that you could see right through the wall.

Anyone know anything about it? I'm in a unique situation where I need to remove a wall without removing a wall.

Right click - edit - select face. 

Select the side of the wall that you want to disappear. Turn transparency to 100.

Wow that's a heck of an illusion - that's the effect i'm going for anyhow. No way to do that because of ALM huh?

Unfortunatly for me, the walls are no mod so I wouldn't be able to do that.

That effect is due to ALM, it's a projected light texture on a shiny surface, basically.

 

The old invisi prim is what died to ALM.
