Unable to Change Content Rating Preference in Viewer

I'm a returning user from a (very) small while back. My 18th birthday was a couple months ago, so I figured I'd check this out again, since I'm old enough to access the Moderate and Adult content now. However, I am unable to change my Preferences in the Viewer to anything but "General", due to it being grayed out. Meanwhile, I can view Moderate and Adult content on the Destination Guide outside of the viewer, as well as view such content in the Marketplace and purchase it. Honestly, I'm pretty confused, and I'd appreciate help.

It probably seems logical that the system would recognize automatically when you have your 18th birthday, but it doesn't.  Or at least is doesn't always.  If it missed yours, submit a support case and ask Linden Lab to fix it for you.  They may ask you to send a copy of some document to verify your age, but wait for them to tell you that.  Meanwhile, happy birthday!
