PURCHASE OF LINDENS

ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 24 I ATTEMPTED TO PURCHASE SOME LINDENS.  THE MONEY WAS TAKEN FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT BUT I NEVER RECEIVED MY LINDENS.   I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE MORE THE NEXT DAY BUT MORE MONEY WAS TAKEN FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT.  CAN YOU HELP PLESE

Please double check first to see how you ordered the L$.  I suspect that you did not BUY L$ at all.  You placed a Limit Buy order, requesting a L$ purchase.  When you specify a price like that, you are offering to buy L$ from other residents, if they are willing to match your offering price.  If you set the offer too low, people will ignore it and your order will never be filled.

If that's what you did, cancel the order (on your dashboard at secondlife.com >>> Lindex >>> Manage >>> Lindex Order History). The money that Linden Lab has been holding in escrow for your purchase will return immediately to the $ balance in your account, so you can place a new order. Until you understand how currency exchanges work, I suggest using the Market Buy option instead of the Limit Buy option so that your purchase is handled immediately at the current market price.

EDIT:  It is also possible that you ordered L$ while the accounting system was having problems over the weekend.  If so, submit a support case with all of the details.
