Can flexi prims have specular maps and qualities?

That looks quite good to me.
Maybe adding some noise to the spec and gloss map will make it sparkle a bit more.

Thank you. Yes true I could also vary the transparency of the wings in the design, like the 'eye' could be more opaque than the rest of the film, etc.
Some parts could be matte, with real butterflies there will be really velvety matte areas of color, usually black, with some other areas shiny or iridescent. 
I wonder if anyone  has gotten a convincing silk velvet affect.
