Morgan's Purple Hair Base on head: REMOVE?

I am using the Morgan skin that I signed up with Second Life. She had purple hair & a purple hair base. I have purchased blonde hair & put on the blonde hair base but under it you can still see the purple through the blonde hair base on the side by the ear. It did not override it. Is there a way to get rid of her purple scalp/hair base? Thanks

when it's baked on the skin you can only cover it.. and you often get what you see now...

only when you have removable hairbases, so no baked on the skin, you can really be sure to wear one and see no other.
