Hello When I click on my destop Icon Phoenix will not load is there a fix called sidebyside fix ?

If you go to http://www.phoenixviewer.com/downloads.php there is a "fix" there for failure to launch, try that one.

Okay Silkie here follwos the full solution:

1) Visit www.ubuntu.com and download the latest version of Ubuntu.

2) Burn the Ubuntu ISO to a CD-ROM.

3) Insert the CD-ROM on your Windows XP machine and turn it off.

4) Turn on your computer and chose "Install Ubuntu" from the menu

5) Make sure to use the ENTIRE harddisk to get rid of Windows

6) Be stunned at seeing an operating system that doesn't crash and actually starts up in less than half the time of Windows. Bask in the glory of knowing that this is the cummulative skill of mankind and a virus-resistant system that doesn't force you into using expensive COMMERCIAL virus guards. 

7) Curse yourself for not having backed up all your data from the Windows machine - since it of course could all have been read and used on your new Ubuntu installation
