how do I correct failed teleports

I keep getting logged off everytime I attempt to teleport. Sent teleports, and landmarks both result in My being logged out. Please help

The most common reason for problems with teleports is heavily or badly scripted attachments. Remove all attachments including hair, shoes, jewellery, HUDs etc and just wear basic clothing layers. Then try teleporting. If successful, start wearing the removed items one by one until you find the culprit(s).

I would also suggest you clear your cache. Open the viewer to the login screen and clear your cache using the Clear cache button in Preferences if on a viewer 1 based client or if viewer 2, press the Reset button under Setup. Close the viewer and relog.

Unusually restrictive firewalls block teleporting  If your firewall is blocking outbound TCP port 12043, then teleporting, viewing the World Map, crossing regions, and related activities won't work.

Also try turning down your max bandwidth setting.
