I don't understand

You cant do very much

You cant change coluors or the order of the forums or posts

You cant chagne the size of things

You cant say that you dont want messages

I cant rememebr the other stuff that you could chose but there was lots

I suppose it is a bit like the old forums becuase things dissappear for no reason

Click that little bell looking icon, at the very top of the page near your name.   that is 'Alerts'.  That's where you say you do or don't want messages, emails, alerts, whatever, or how you want them.

That is notifications and I cant see anything in it that stops people sending you private messages like the old forum used to

Well actually if you go to Messages (the envelope icon) and 'Inbox' and scroll to the bottom you can see 'Disable Messenger'.  I would guess that would stop people from sending you messages?
