If it was sent by a person look in your trash. If it was sent by a scipted item (such a Marketplace Magic Box) then its gone.

If your friend just dropped it on your avatar or in your profile then yeah that would normally go to your trash folder if you declined it.

Let the vendor/creator know your issue. If you don't know where it was purchased then ask the person who gifted you the object. I am sure the vendor will see that the item was not delivered and resend to you.
