Unable to find my own Profile from the Search

Greetings everyone :)

 

I've tried to link my SL Profile ID to some website where i do daily offers in exchange for Lindens but when i tried to "Link"

my profile, as i'm asked to input the following : Second Life Username

 

So i tried to put mine , Elistios but i got the following error:

-Your Second Life Profile is set to Private
-You mistyped your Second Life Username
-Second Life Search might be down

Your username is both your screenname in Second Life and your login ID. Accounts created prior to June 2010 may have both a first and last name (Example: First Last), while newer accounts may only have a single username

So i've been to my profile to see about the Private part but i see nowhere where i can toggle between Private and Public other then those that said Second Life/Friends/none/Everyone witch i simply all put to everyone. Then again on the Second Life Search (that is definatly not down) if i do a research for my own Profile (Elistios) i find nothing at all...it's like i'm not in the database or something like that.

 

Can anyone help me to make my profile Public so that i can be found from the Second Life Search ?

you perhaps simply disabled "show in search"

in firestorm it's in the preferences and at your inworld profile ( richt click yourself/profile)

Yeah i tought about this too but it does have the check box checked.

I've seen another person that had a similar problems but it was due to his "About me" description but it cannot be that since I never really filled any of my profile just yet (All is blank)

Another Hypothesis is that i joined earn2life group yesterday and it added some advertisement on top of my Character name saying : Ask me to earn L$$$! 

I would love to remove that to test if this could be the reason why it block my profile on search as the other persone was block from the search because of the algorythm that filter something he wrote and decide to sensor him from the search for some reason.

Can anyone help me on how I change what is written over my name ?

Remove yourself from the group or deactivate the group.  The advert should disappear.

Ok found it thanks ! 

 

This was actually the reason i could not found myself from the search so if you have a similar problem make sure all your Descritptions/Group Moto/About me section is right
