Every time I log in and try to go "home" or do a "search" or "find" something, the page is BLANK! I am using now the latest version and instead of just getting a blank page, i am receiving the following messages: Proxy sever not found or Host not found. Please help. Thanks.

Check Me - Preferences - Setup.  Look under Use built-in browser.  If you have a Proxy location entered, you probably need to turn it off.  My setup looks like this.  --Cinn

Someone else reported the same error yesterday, it turned out to be specific to that viewer and everything worked perfectly on the Firestorm viewer https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory

I did suggest that she file a JIRA (bug report) for this specific error, you can check to see if there is one there and add your comments or create one yourself if she hasn`t gotten around to it yet.

Is that proxy enabled by default? If so I could track down that last poster and get her to check hers.

Yes I believe I've got my settings all at default. I never added a proxy server.

Actually the other possibiliy is that the OP NEEDS to use a proxy server to access the web.  The problem is that even if you tell Setup to use your own web browser, it will still use the internal browser for some things like search.  So the thing to do there is to enter the same proxy server information they use for their browser into the Setup
