My rl partner died; can i get his assets transferred over to one of my avatars?

My rl partner had 2 active SL avatars going but he passed away in late October. I hesitate to go on as one of his avs because it gets too many questions from people who knew him. I was wondering if there is a way to get his assets transferred over to one of my avatars, or if i will just have to log on as him and make his avatar invisible while I am on as him.

If you have a legal document you are the one that is in the will, you can get the accounts,after LL hands them to you, but no transfer items will still be impossible to transfer.

If you log in at one or more of them and transfer things without prior consent you technically steal the accounts and objects.

If you want to prevent issues, contact support.

A SL account is considered an asset of the estate and must be handled according to any will or last wishes of the deceased.
