Question

Hello everyone,

currently I'm having a massive problems regarding my newly created group and their abilities to manage goup related things and rez objects on my land.

I'm the owner of a parcel and set my group in the about land tab. I also checked in the about land -> option tab that build and object enty for Everyone is unchecked and only for the Group it is checked.

In my group I assigned 4 main roles. Owner (with all availabe abilities), Manager(currently no member in this role), Builder (a role with only chat and 'always allow create object' abilitiy) and Everyone ( Only the chat ability is checked)

Now I'm having the problem, that everyone that joins my group instantly is able to rez objects on my land no matter in what role they are in. Further more I let my alt account join the Owner role and with this account I am not able to even set up new roles or invite new members despite having the owner title active.

Am I doing anything wrong or is the group role management and their abilities broken?

Edit:

@ Alwin
my alt wears the correct Owner group tag and I also made sure I saved any changes...

Edit 2:

Alright, I finally figured it out.
In order to deny the Everyone role to rez and enable the Builder role to rez the land must be deeded to the group and under the land info -> options tab BOTH checkboxed under Build: Everyone AND Group must be unchecked.
Only then the Abilities I declared in the group roles function properly.

And for my Alt account all I neded to do it activate another group on my Alt acoount and then reactivate my group to make the role and ability change on a member take effect.
