However, it needs either a bank account or a card, both of which I don't have, and don't have access to in the forseeable future. The reason I was given for this is that transactions aren't instantaneous. So what? If you're gonna get the money within a week, does it really have to be right away? Also, all the alternative "authorized resellers" are now extinct, so I cannot use those. I honestly have no clue what to do. Is there something else I am unaware of? What do you suggest I do? Do what is required...don't you want your l$ instantly? or also wait a few weeks before you get it after payment? It's a value of real money, so payment indeed has to be instantly. You pay something and get something. What if you spend your 12 dollar to something else in the time between buying L$ and the real payment taken out?...who's gonna refund LL for the loss? you already spended the L$... Accepted payment methods are mentioned in the knowledge base: paypal and skrill, verified with bank account or Credit Card real credit cards. If you can't have one of those, your simply out of luck. Maybe I could send money via Paypal to someone with a linked account, they buy the L$, then send them to me via Second Life Viewer. Now to find someone who'd be willing to work with me... Alwin Alcott Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 LL states clearly that it's not allowed to get L$ otherwise than on the Lindex, and 3rd party is not longer allowed. If your "friend"" offers you this "service", het starts acting as a 3rd party seller, he and the customers have the risk to be banned from SL for life. If I get my L$, and you get your USD, why does it matter if it goes through someone else to make us both happy? What is so bad about getting a friend involved?
