Hi,

Every time I try to log in I get the error message "Unable to connect to a simulator". I have tried reading the forums and doing the advice suggested there but nothing seems to be working. I am using Second Life for school so I have to be able to get in today. Thanks for all of your help.

There are several possible causes.  Given your setting, the most likely one IMO is that your school's firewall is blocking access.  Campus IT systems will do that sometimes because they want to reserve bandwidth for students who are studying or doing research.  You could ask your instructor to check with IT, or you could try just logging in to SL from an off-campus location.

If that's not it, work your way down one of these lists of suggestions:

ETA:  I should have also mentioned the obvious thing to try, if you haven't already .... try logging in to a different region and then teleporting to your intended destination.
