My clothes in second life are messing up I put on alpha layer and still skin shows. What to do?

you most likely wear a (starter) mesh body. The clothes you try to wear aren't designed for that.

Standard alpha layers don't work with mesh bodies, so thats why they skin peeks out.

When you pick a non mesh starter avatar ( go to the library, drag a avatar folder on you) the alpha's will work and hide your skin.
