Route 50?

Pulling this from the "Those cars on the mainland roads. Grrrrrrr." thread into its own topic.

Route 50 badging is a confusing thing, with this map on the Second Life wiki showing it starting north on Route 66 and ending as soon as it enters Shermerville Central. Yet, as Baloo Uriza wisely pointed out on the other thread:

"SL 50 could use some consistent signage once it enters Shermerville...it splits into 50N and 50S, both running perpendicular to the 50 that runs into 66, without so much as a hint of signage."

So... anyone have any ideas on the proper route? *is* there a proper route (I suspect no)?
