ahha...thankyou, Dan

One issue that may or may not be related to this server software.  I noticed over the past week that on several LeTigre and Bluesteel RC sims mesh is taking a longer time to rez than at Main Server sims, with today's roll I have NOT seen this effect on Main Server sims.

Strange!

Three of my four sims never came back up, and the one that is up, no mesh has rezzed -- I only now discovered it because I was not on my computer. I filed a ticket.

I am struck by two things.  First, you appear to be at very odd co-ordinates (-0.1, 1.0, 48.1)??  when you sent that:  to me that suggests you are logged into that sim in a very strange position.

Secondly the OpenGL support on that 780M GPU is 2.1...I thought we were up to 4.5 now.  I may be iggerant, perhaps mobile GPUs use a different version of OpenGL, but to my mind you will struggle both with mesh-rezzing and with more complex sculpts.

Pardon me if I am way wide of the mark there but to my mind you are likely to have issues and they are more your end than LL's.

Also the Firestorm version you use is two iterations old....thast's not going to help in trhe rendering department.

I think the sim boot failures suggest caps failure yet again, and that is going to require LL intervention.

Thank you, you have given me some things to look into, -- a Linden came out and said everything looked fine to her. I dont understand why everything looks so unfine on my assistant's PC and my iMac, tho.

I tried Singularity, same effect as on FS.

If a Firestorm viewer is working for me, I don't update it. It is hard enough on my iMac finding some version of any viewer that works okay, so I bounce around til I find something. This time that approach does not appear to be working. I will try the LL viewer but it is pretty useless for building with mesh.

I don't know much about OpenGL versions.

I am thinking your observation about coordinates may be key.
