Where would i find the transaction when i sold about 9,000 l's?  I don't see the credit or transaction where it sold. Will the credit be used to manage my fees now, so that it won't hit my credit card i have set up on sl?

Open your dashboard at secondlife.com and navigate to Account >>> Account Summary.  Your L$ balance and your USD balance are right in the middle of the page.  Linden Lab will always use your USD balance first for paying bills.  If you do not have a large enugh USD balance, they will charge the remainder to your credit card or PayPal/Skrill account.
