beta grid account age

I'm getting blocked at the sign in page to take the IP test for the beta grid. Is there an account age restriction (my account is new)

It takes a day or two or ten for your account to propagate from the main grid to beta. You'll discover this lag every time you change your account password, when you find yourelf locked out of the beta grid for a day or two.

Be patient. If you can't get in tomorrow, come back and complain and we'll start thinking about what might be going wrong.

And just so you know, we're residents here in Answers, so we have neither special insight, nor magical powers.

Well, I do have magical powers, but they don't help anyone.
