How can I access adult content? I made this account in 2007, had not logged on in a long time.

Made account in 2007, I was of age at this time also, I am 28 years old.  I have already changed it in my prefrences, someone told me via chat that if I added a payment method that this would fix it, I am not sure if they are correct, if they are I will do it, but I want to keep this account.

I don't blame you.  Nobody wants to lose a legacy account. Submit a support case to ask the Lab for help.  They may want you to provide photocopied documents to verify your age, but that's a small hurdle.   I know there's an urban myth that having a payment method proves that you must be an adult, but I have never seen that confirmed by Linden Lab.  Adding a payment method can't hurt, though, so you might as well do it anyway.
