What is the diference between 32 and 64 bits?

It depends on the OS you use on your computer.  Some versions of Windows are 32 bits and some are 64.  So you need to determine what you have on your computer to make a choice of which Firestorm to download.

Look under Help > About Firestorm in your current viewer.  You should find the info there.

Amethyst is spot on with her answer but also know that the 32-bit version of FireStorm will run on either the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows.

For now i still would choice the 32bit version for secondlife. 

because that version have the complete support for havoc. The opensim and 64bit version are missing that functionality.

 

On windows you can run bith 32 and 64bit programs. run for years the 32bit viewer without problem.
