How do I make a pose ball for a single pose

I need help with making a poseball. I have an animation, but want to put it in a pirm poseball. How do I do that? I tried to drag and drop the animation in to a ball prim, like someone told me, but that didn't work... How do I do this? Do I need a script to make the animation to work as a poseball?

Yes you do. An animation without a script is nearly useless.  Try this >>> https://community.secondlife.com/t5/LSL-Library/Basic-Pose-Ball-script/m-p/719317.   Put it into a prim along with your anim.  You can fiddle with it easily if you want to make it do more tricks, but that's about as simple as a poseball script gets.
