How do I make a pose ball for a single pose

Yes you do. An animation without a script is nearly useless.  Try this >>> https://community.secondlife.com/t5/LSL-Library/Basic-Pose-Ball-script/m-p/719317.   Put it into a prim along with your anim.  You can fiddle with it easily if you want to make it do more tricks, but that's about as simple as a poseball script gets.
