You can always send a friend cash so she can use it to open a Premium account, and you can always make a private agreement to deposit money in her PayPal account each month so it's an ongoing gift, but all of that's outside of SL.  She'll have to sign up by herself.  The account owner is responsible for paying all bills, and she owns all assets and intellectual property rights on anything she creates. Consult the TOS, starting with Section 4.2: "You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your Account whether or not you authorize the activity (except to the extent that activities occur because someone gains access to our system without using your identifiers and password)."  For her own security and privacy, she should not allow anyone, even you, to have access to her account.
