Normally, bake fail can be cured quickly and quite easily with one of the suggestions here >>> http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_bake_fail . If you have tried all of those suggestions and are still having problems, you have a wonky Internet connection. Persistent bake fail is usually a sign that your viewer is not logging in with the SL servers fully. You're losing data along the way, or there is a slow link somewhere in the pipeline between your machine and the servers.
If you have been using a wifi or a satellite connection, get off it if you can. Many SL residents have no trouble at all with wifi, but niether wifi nor satellite connections are supported by Linden Lab. (See https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Wifi-and-satellite-connections/ta-p/1296823 ) Aside from that basic step, the most likely culprit is your router. Reboot it and your modem by unplugging both from the power for a few minutes. Then plug them back in and restart everything. That will clear their memory and let them get a firmer grasp on your IP address.
