Sure she can. You can always make the permissions on something you own more restrictive when you give the object to someone else.
BTW, please do not start a new thread if you are simply continuing a current question or providing extra information. Doing that makes it hard for us to see what other people have already suggested, and it pushes other residents' questions off the page.
