any way to check edit history on textured objects ?

be nice to know if is a way to check who did it

but the original object owner gave someone who clearly shouldn't have been trusted, edit permission.

There's a big DUH! in there.  There's really no need to add features to protect people from their own stupdity, lessons are there for this purpose.  Can you tell that i'm not exactly sympathetic?

Is the object owned by you, or by a group? The list of suspects should be short.

If it's solely owned by you (or one person) only someone in that account's Friends list can have edited it. Hint: don't give edit rights to anyone you don't completely trust, and remove the rights when they don't need them any longer. You never know when they'll get p*ssed off with you.

If it's a group-owned object, and it is specifically shared with the group, certain people in the group might have permission to edit. If the group has been set up sensibly, this will be group owners and possibly officers. In the Group Profile, look under 'Abilities'. Near the bottom of the list is a folder 'Object Management' with three tick boxes. Highlight 'Manipulate (move, copy, modify) group-owned objects'. At the bottom of the panel there will be a list showing 'Members with this ability'.  It could be any of those people.

The trick is prevention, not cure. If you don't know how this stuff works, you shouldn't be giving anyone permission to edit your objects, or giving group roles with edit powers.
