Can we get 16 to 18 more bones on the avatar for face deformations?

Since Shapekeys and Mesh have been Bunked, is there a way to suggest a proper face rig(preferably one of the simpler than "FaceRig" rigs) as a default for SL?

Hi Shnurui,

We're all residents here, just like you. So we're in no position to do anything about your request.

But we are in a position to think that it's highly unlikely LL will do anything substantial to the SL avatar. They're busy working on a new virtual world platform called (for the moment) Sansar. I think it would be fair to consider SL to be in something like maintenance mode. While there might be some small improvements here and there, there will probably be no major changes. The underpinnings of SL are old and creaky and the user base is shrinking.

I imagine the avatars in the new virtual world will be more capable, but we've not been told terribly much about what's coming.
