Dude!

You do know that this is a public forum and you just posted a picture of your passport for the entire freaking world to see, right?

You might want to edit that part out (immediately) since this is not the place to submit it.

Buried in that pile of B.S. is the paragraph that I have included below on how to submit your information:

 

 

What happens if I experience problems when I try to verify my identity?

We are committed to making sure the process is as smooth and user-friendly as possible; however, we understand that this represents a change for Residents. We have also tested the system extensively with our systems provider, Aristotle-Integrity, which has delivered this type of technology to other companies. If you are a Premium or Concierge customer and you continue to have problems verifying your identity, please go to the Second Life Support Portal and submit a ticket.

Please attach an electronic (scanned) copy of one of a Government issued identification that has your name and date of birth clearly displayed. This identification could be one of the following:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Driver's License
  • Passport
  • State or National ID


To attach a file to your ticket:

  1. Log into the Second Life Support Portal and click the My Support History tab.
  2. Click the Ticket # of the age verification ticket you submitted.
  3. Click the Comment button.
  4. Click the Attach a file link.
  5. Browse for the file on your computer and click Open.
  6. To attach another file, click the Attach another file link.
  7. Click the Submit button.
  8. The files you specified will be uploaded and attached to the ticket.

Please expect manual verification to take 5-7 working days.

Assuming you have followed the automatic age verification process http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Age-verification/ta-p/700021 and it is is not working and you have Basic Membershio, you cannot manually age verify. This is a Premium Member support ticket only.

You can however add adult verification to your account which will allow you access virtually all adult areas apart from a few where sim owners who have ticked the age verification option.

As you are resident outside the US, Paypal is not an option. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Local_Payments_FAQ If you have a valid annual credit card (not a gift card), open your Dashboard and follow the link to buy Lindens from the Linden Exchange. Buy the minimum amount of Lindens you can (more if you want) and follow the process to the end where you will be asked to insert credit card details. Once you have completed this process and submitted all details you will be adult account verified. Open Second Life and under Me > Preferences > General, change the drop down box to allow you access General, Moderate and Adult. Close SL and relog and all should be fine.

(looks at your nice blue letter jacket and sighs... "one day I will make the team... one day...I will be an M") :D

 

I do like my fellow residents enough that I don't mind helping out even if LL does get some benefit... gags....
