Prism right face is distorted?

Use planar texture mapping or cut via path cut, instead of using taper.

This is normal behaviour, a result of how the triangles are 'squished' when objects are manipulated. Remember that a 'prism' is just a cube with either taper or cut applied. If you squeeze the top of a paper bag together to create a triangle shape, you'll squash the logo on the bag - same principle.

No worries, is the benefit of a second pair of eyes.

Often it's just a different approach is needed, hard to conjure new thoughts when looking at confusing problems. :D

Well done on taking a picture of the issue - it's one I see a lot, since I still work almost exclusively in prims. >.>
