When buying and selling land within a group

do I need to manually adjust the contribution in the group land tab? If I don't manually adjust to the maximum land contribution for that month will the contribution carry over month to month at the highest tier?

To be safe I would definately advise doing it, though I have known people forget and not get charged, so I assume their is a way that the system knows.

Having said that I have also known people be charged twice for the same land in the same month (though it was refunded) when they sold their own group land back to their avatar.

The group tier contribution will remain the same from month to month.

Yes, I believe that you do have to manually adjust the amount of teir you wish to donate.

 

This question is tricky because if you're just a member of a group or if you own the group may produce an different results when adjusting allowed land holdings.

I don't think that reducing tier at a residents account page will remove tier donations to or for group land owned by that resident.

Yes, I think I learned this lesson the hard way. However, LL contacted me and told me they will adjust my tier this time. I thought it was very good of them.

If you add teir via the group tab to cover the the parcel/parcels you always need to remove the contribution once you no longer need it as the tier in the group stays in group contributions till you change your teir contribution and this will still count on personal teir from you.

Yes, I have a friend that never adjusted manually and was never charged. I could not figure out why I was being charged excessive tier. Like i said in a comment above, LL was very kind - this time!
