I keep getting stuck when trying to move inworld. Tried different viewers but still get stuck. Help!

I have been having a heck of a time lately moving around in SL. Is anyone else having this issue? Even the movement control arrows move really slow or get stuck often. Does anyone know the solution? Pretty much everywhere I go, my movements are choppy, I get stuck and I get the rainbow wheel (i use a mac), and sometimes I have to turn in a certain position just to be able to move at all. I have used SL's most updated viewer and tried Singularity as well, but it is the same thing with both viewers. Does anyone have a solution. I want to begin working inworld and right now it is impossible because I can barely move most of the time......note: I can move the best if I am turned away from a crowd or off to the side by myself. But even in deserted, empty sims I sometimes still have trouble moving. Has anyone else experienced this and what is the solution. This has been going on for the past 6 months. Before that I could move at top speed everywhere.

Most likely you have a poor internet connection between you and the SL servers.  Try adding the free Google public DNS servers to your network setup.  Here's a link to instructions: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

Sounds like massive network issues or graphic lag. Try a restart of the modem/router. There was an excelent blog entry about other things to test: http://blog.nalates.net/2011/10/26/troubleshoot-your-sl-connection/
